Made from steel and tuned in C Golden Gate, the Sela SE 374 Melody Tongue Drum has an immediately warm and restful sonic character and easily navigated playability, no matter your skill level. Intuitively play rhythmic melodies by simply rolling through the C4, D4, D#4, G4, A#4, C5, D5, D#5 tuning and never fear hitting the wrong note. As well as the drum, this pack includes a pair of beaters that have been specifically designed to ensure maximum projection, and so the Sela SE 374 Melody Tongue Drum can be kept dust free and in top condition, it also comes complete with a cotton pouch.

Dit is het leukste cadeautje dat ik onlangs voor mezelf kocht (heb inmiddels de groene ook) een heel mooi en bijzonder instrument waar de mooiste klanken uitkomen. Je bespeelt het intuïtief en op gevoel (en gehoor) het kan zowel met de stokjes die erbij geleverd worden als ook met je vingers (eigenlijk nog leuker en magisch). De klanken zijn heerlijk in het oor en speel sinds ik ze heb er elke dag op. Ik neem het ook vaak mee naar werk (handzaam formaat) en gebruik het om tussendoor even te ontspannen. En dat doet het. Ik was geen muzikant maar nu speel ik de mooiste klankjes. Thanks Bax!

Na bestelling snel mijn tongue drum ontvangen. Mooi verpakt in een stevige mooie tas. Hij klinkt harder dan ik dacht. Er komen mooie zuivere klanken uit. Nu nog oefenen wat ik er mee kan spelen. Ik wil eigenlijk een handpan kopen, maar vind de aanschaf erg duur en ik weet niet of ik het leuk vind om op te spelen. Daarom eerst deze aangeschaft om te kijken of het iets zou kunnen zijn. Het klinkt wel heel anders. Nu gaan oefenen hiermee. En als het goed bevalt sparen voor de handpan.
